Online backup has been around for decades. In its crudest form it involved simple, unprotected file transfer from one location to another. At that point it was the forte of large corporations and military who could use this technology in conjunction with secure point to point servers. It does have to be acknowledged however that the infrastructure which is in place while limited in range is reliable.

Once the cable is in however, speed is out of government control and will be provided aggressively by competing suppliers. 2.If you do find yourself in a data loss situation you may need to have your online backup provider call to your office. This would not be considered a very unusual occurrence so make sure it is both possible and affordable.
