Intended agents should ideally be at principal level in an established computer services business to business company, should come with excellent references and be in a position to generate sales from a large existing client base.

We are not currently seeking agents. All current sales agent applications are managed by Mike Hehir (International) and Shane Munnelly (Ireland). Please contact your appropriate representative after reading this document.

You may be seeking to become an online backup agent or an online backup reseller. Regardless of your preference and intended terminology we deal with all field sales agents on an individual basis. You are here because you are looking for an online backup opportunity. Non compete commitment.
Your clients are exactly that. We are here to enable you to offer your clients an additional service which will offer your clients protection against data loss, offer you protection from losing a client over a data loss issue, provide you with an additional revenue stream and provide you with more control over client information lifecycle. We are here to provide level 2 support to you and level 1 support to your client as and when you choose.

Quality best of breed software.
We are familiar with the most popular 20 online backup offerings in the world. We have tested them all exhaustively. We are familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of all relevant competition. This testing required considerable investment of resources but is the principal reason for our award winning solution. We strive to maintain that position with constant appropriate updates. We use (fully licensed) components from several different offerings and have made modifications in house and through full ownership outsourcing to advance the functionality of our backup, remote management, C.R.M. and sales force assistance.

Excellent support.
We will provide level 1 and 2 support. This allows you to choose one of the following scenarios and to shift between them without notice.

• Level 1 - Our preferred initial option. Online backup reseller model.
  Have us do the work and operate with your client as your preferred supplier. In this circumstance it is made clear to them how important your custom is to us and as a consequence the level of support they will receive having come through you. Our level 1 support pertains to online backup only and any queries regarding other products and services would be routed back to you.
• Level 2 - Suited to committed individuals and companies with a large client base. Online backup agent model. We can customize our software and re brand with your logo and details. You would provide level 1 support and contact us as required. This is only appropriate with resellers who have very good technical skills and after they have acquired considerable experience through sales of our products. We can also provide co-customisation and level 1 support.

Membership of a very exclusive organization.
We have no interest in accumulating large numbers of channel partners in the guide of online backup agents or online backup resellers. We are focused on a quality approach which allows us to look after a small exclusive group and for those online backup partners to be unlikely to overlap in competition outside of rare circumstances which as a consequence of their rareness should be sortable without disappointment.

Generous remuneration
The word generous should be read appropriately. Best of breed backup is not free backup and therefore comes at a cost. We do however recognize the value of sales and due to our unique channel partner / client management system those clients remain yours and the relationship remains one between you and your client so we also recognize your ability to churn if unhappy. We offer two types of remuneration Initially we offer a once off payment per sale and after the agent has reached a set number of sales they move to a residual payment scheme only and after the next bench mark to initial and residual.

What we expect from you.

Good computer grounding (for online backup agent status)
Our level 1 and 2 support negates any requirement for you to be a computer professional. We do however require that your organization. employs best practice and that if you are not a computer professional you allow us to provide your clients with level one backup support. Handover is an option to you in time given individual circumstances.

Sales professional or sales professional staff. (for online backup reseller status)
You should be a sales professional or employ same in your organization. This is your primary position and earning route as channel partner and imperative to our mutual benefit.

Quality existing client database (for all online backup partners)
This opportunity pertains to you if you are currently providing products, services or utilities to small and medium sized business clients. You should have at least 100 active clients or near that with at least 200 archive clients. By active clients we mean businesses you deal with ongoing or have dealt with in the past year. By archive clients we mean businesses you dealt with no longer than two years ago.

Target and remuneration driven (for all online backup partners)
It is understandable that initially you will be "testing the water" with regard to the entire online backup approved agent experience and that during this period, targets would be inappropriate. It must also be understandable that given our preference for low numbers of agents that we expect some commitment. This is in the form of agreeing realistic targets and agreeing incentives to meet same. To reassure the skeptical we will agree from the outset that no such agreement can cause the minimum remuneration from reducing if you fail to meet targets.

Availability for online and occasional offline meetings and training. (for all online backup partners)
Online backup is a simple idea. It is however a complex process. Potential client questions are varied and the ability to answer requires training. We would expect as the norm, it given alternative dates you would be able to make yourself available online once a month for an online conference or essential reading of circa one hour and twice per year to meet offline for training.
